Roading

The backbone of our operations on the farm is the extensive network of roads and tracks. The expansion and maintenance are managed by our in house roading and projects crew:

New and improved roads and tracks do not only allow us to work more efficiently and safely, but also ensure all year-round access to all corners of the farm and forests. Our crew consists of four permanent employees who have a variety of machines, such as excavators, dozers, dump trucks, graders and rollers at their disposal.

Alongside road work, the team also carries out other tasks that are necessary on the farm. This can be preparation of areas for Manuka-plantations, creating a pond system for our Koura-project or processing aggregate for third-party.
